A student can begin to build their LinkedIn Profile by signing up and creating a profile and fill in key fields that you can. Start early and plan to save key presentation documents and papers, videotape your presentations. Participate in campus activities and become an officer. Have goals and accomplish them and start adding key field of study classes. Engage with professors, so they know you (and later recommend). Start building connections with family, friends of the family, professors, work supervisors, join Alumni and field of study groups: engage and then connect.
Some Tips you can do with your LinkedIn profile today:
- Add supporting information via apps (videos of presentations, key papers written, etc)
- Secure profesor and any work recommendations
- Expand network with super connectors
